Project TitleHabitat Restoration and Enhancement for Roseate and Common Terns on Great Gull
Funding Amount Requested (may be an estimate)*99,198
Provide a short paragraph stating why the project is best administered by the Coastal Institute.

Common and Roseate Terns represent a number of key challenges to biologists and land managers in Coastal Ecosystems. They nest on offshore islands threatened by climate change and sea level rise. Anthropogenic factors can affect populations (e.g., offshore wind,, oil spills, human developments). And they are a charismatic species enjoyed by many. Finally, they migrate from New England to winter in coastal Brazil and Argentina, thus are international migrants to coastal ecosystems.
