Provide a short paragraph stating why the project is best administered by the Coastal Institute.

The project is aimed to advance the marine aquaculture sector from the socioeconomic dimension and marketing. The RFP also emphasizes the involvement of local Sea Grant agents and their capacity building in outreach for the aquaculture industry and its sustainable development. The increased use of coastal and offshore waters for aquaculture is a question of when, not if, and to do so in a sustainable manner with respect to both ecological and societal carrying capacity is one of the key missions of the Coastal Institute.
