| Provide a short paragraph stating why the project is best administered by the Coastal Institute. | This project complements CI's efforts to promote coastal resilience through its demonstration projects. Although the details of this project will be determined during the planning process which this grant would support, we expect that the sites would include Barrington-Warren-Bristol, which is one of the demonstration sites for CI. Additionally, we are proposing to expand CI's involvement in coastal monitoring to other parts of RI. Finally, this project will involve a strong civic and academic partnership, some of which relies on the relationships and trust between CI and coastal communities in the state. |
