Provide a short paragraph stating why the project is best administered by the Coastal Institute.

The project focuses on addressing the current topic - release of PFAS from secondary sources affecting contamination of all environmental compartments, with a focus on coastal and ocean water (as the ultimate sink for PFAS). The project is also linked to the STEEP SRP Superfund Center, which is also managed by the Coastal Institute.
