Provide a short paragraph stating why the project is best administered by the Coastal Institute.

The CI is best to administer this grant because of the public outreach outcomes from this research project. This project will help to better characterize the relationship between nitrate sensors and grab sample collection methods. It is also important to link the temporal data with spatial data to better address water quality impairments caused by eutrophication in Mt. Hope Bay and Greenwich Bay, as assessed by MassDEP and RIDEM. In addition, it may be used to identify other areas of interest for monitoring purposes. This project can also provide state managers with information on where to prioritize monitoring efforts within Mt. Hope Bay.
