TNC/URI GLOBAL MARINE RESEARCH AWARDS ANNOUNCED

The Nature Conservancy and the University of Rhode Island’s Coastal Institute (TNC/URI) are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 TNC/URI Student Research Award. This award supports research projects that advance the conservation and restoration of marine and coastal ecosystems.

Rebecca Stevick, Biological Oceanography, Graduate School of Oceanography (Research Advisors: Dr. Marta Gomez-Chiarri, College of the Environment and Life Sciences and Dr. Anton Post, Graduate School of Oceanography). Effects of Estuarine Acidification on the Adult Eastern Oyster Microbiomes and Health in Narragansett Bay.
