As Director of Restoration at Save The Bay, I work on coastal habitat restoration, water quality improvement, and coastal adaptation projects throughout Narragansett Bay and the salt ponds. Through the restoration and adaptation projects, I collaborate with partners at all levels of government along with scientists, watershed organizations, neighborhood groups, and land trusts. The project coordination includes stakeholder engagement, site assessments, conceptual design development, permitting, implementation, adaptive management, and monitoring. I work with partners to secure funds from state and federal grants and private foundations for all stages of the design and implementation process. I'm extremely interested and concerned about the effects of climate change on coastal habitats, specifically salt marshes.
