I’m the Director of the Stormwater Innovation Center at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, where I lead a team focused on collaborative research, monitoring, professional training, community engagement, and restoration projects to improve water quality and resilience across the state. I’ve spent more than twenty years working on water resource challenges with federal and tribal governments and non-profit organizations, from the Pacific Northwest and the desert Southwest to coastal Rhode Island.
At the Stormwater Innovation Center, my team and I bring together stormwater and water resource professionals to collaborate, share lessons learned, and continuously improve how projects are planned, designed, built, and maintained. We also develop programs that help community members understand their role in reducing stormwater runoff and protecting local waterways.
As a Coastal Institute Fellow, I’m focused on strengthening connections among researchers, practitioners, and educators to turn stormwater and water quality science into practical strategies that protect our coastal waters and the communities that depend on them.
