I am interested in chemoautotrophic production (i.e., non-photosynthetic) and the diversity and function of anaerobic microorganisms in coastal habitats. I am interested in finding research opportunities to characterize local, coastal microbiology and the role of microbes in the carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur cycles in coastal habitats.
