Biography
Bobby Duggleby is an International Coordinator at the Coastal Institute, supporting financial management, subaward coordination, and operational administration for the Fish Right Program and other international projects. He joined URI in 2026, bringing more than a decade of experience managing complex, multi-program portfolios in international higher education.
Bobby’s expertise spans program and portfolio management, budget development, contract and vendor coordination, and cross-institutional collaboration. At CI, he supports project-level financial oversight, partner agreements, and grant lifecycle administration, working closely with PIs, field office staff, and university finance teams. He focuses on building reliable systems for tracking expenditures, commitments, and reporting that keep complex international initiatives accountable and on schedule. His work emphasizes financial transparency and operational infrastructure that enables technical teams to deliver results.
Before joining CI, Bobby was Assistant Director of Faculty-Led Programs at Northeastern University, where he administered a $1.5M+ portfolio of global academic programs. He previously coordinated international research and experiential learning initiatives in Nepal, Chile, Belize, and Haiti at Florida State University, and served as a FEMA Corps team leader with AmeriCorps NCCC. He holds an M.A. and B.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University.
