I am a human geographer. I use ethnographic methods to study how humans utilize and gain access to coastal resources. I am also interested in understanding how humans develop cultural, emotional, and spiritual relationships to coastal and marine environments, and in turn, identifying how losing access to these natural spaces can impact different groups of people.
