I'm a physical oceanographer who uses tools and perspectives from fluid dynamics to address questions in biological and chemical oceanography. I have a record in publications of coastal issues in topics such as red tide formation in the surf zone and nutrient delivery to the nearshore. I'm broadly interested in topics relating to primary production and community composition of plankton.
