My research interests focus on estuarine and coastal ecology. I am interested in the ecology and life history of marine arthropods, particularly horseshoe crabs and decapod crustaceans. I am also interested in salt marsh ecosystems and how they respond to restoration activities, with particular interest in salt marsh fish and decapod crustaceans. I work closely with local non-profit agencies (Save the Bay), as well as the US Fish and Wildlife Service and National Park Service in the development and implementation of long-term monitoring protocols.
