As a marine geologist who does research related to mapping the coastal environment and reconstructing past terrestrial landforms that are now submerged by rising sea level, I am keenly interested in understanding more about our coasts and how they are effected by natural phenomena. I am interested in looking at submerged archaeological resources that can tell us more about human activity along the coast. Also, I am interested in educational outreach and communicating science to public audiences through telepresence technology.
