As a member of the National Park Service’s Northeast Coastal and Barrier Network (NCBN), I coordinate the data management programs and GIS activities for ecological inventory and monitoring projects conducted at eight coastal national parks. I am particularly interested in issues of coastal wetland ecology and coastal geomorphology, the use of GIS/GPS and database technology in natural resource management, and science communication (particularly web design).
