Trained in climatology and oceanography, I have been fearing storm intensification and the disappearance of coral reefs for several decades, until I witnessed it. I am passionate in understanding and predicting with numerical simulations, the impact of climatic change on local wave climate, sea level, and coastal morphology, to ultimately increase the resilience of local communities. I am particularly eager in finding and optimizing "green" solutions at vulnerable sites to mitigate the unavoidable increase in sea level and change in local climate.
