For over 10 years, Alicia Schaffner has worked as Executive Director for the Salt Ponds Coalition, a local non-profit dedicated to protecting the health of Rhode Island's coastal ponds, specifically Pt. Judith, Potter, Green Hill, Ninigret, Quonochontaug, and Winnapaug. As Executive Director, she has been at the helm of all education and outreach, science and advocacy initiatives that SPC has undertaken.
