Shellfish management planning; coastal community engagement and education on key coastal policy issues; facilitating diverse groups of stakeholders to deveolp management recommendations to improve marine resource management. In line with the CI mission, I seek to develop solutions to marine and coastal management issues. My interest and training relates to fisheries management, namely to bring stakeholders into the management process to inform it, ground truth it, and lend real-world insights. I deeply enjoy bringing science and real-world experience together to inform coastal policy making, something which offers many challenges but equal rewards.
