Through historical accounts and contemporary interviews, Sarah Schumann offers a glimpse into shellfisheries of years past through today. She brings to light the enduring importance of shellfish to Rhode Island through the stories of growers, commercial and recreational harvesters, artists, and many others.

A limited number of copies of the book will be available at the discussion.
