Biography

Dr. Ying Zhang is a computational biologist with expertise in metabolic modeling, (Meta)omics, and data-intensive applications in environmental microbiology. Her research group develops open-source software and models for biological system simulations at molecular, organismal, and ecosystem scales.

Her recent research focuses on mapping the diversity and distribution of coastal benthic foraminifera, contributing valuable insights to the field of marine biology.
