I am a coastal ecologist who has been working directly on coastal issues since I began graduate school. Much of my current research is focused on climate change impacts and nutrient dynamics in Narragansett Bay and the coastal ponds. I work in salt marshes, mangroves, estuaries, and the continental shelf. I guess that you could say that coastal issues are my life's work. The Coastal Institute has helped me since my graduate school days at GSO. You continue to support our local research community in so many ways. It is time for me to give back a little bit. Given my expertise, I would love to help guide and support research efforts in any way possible. I would be happy to participate in meetings and workshops and in any other way that I can be helpful.
