My research most broadly examines the intersections between science, policy, and the media, as they relate to society's sustainability crises. My research focuses on several coastal issues, ranging from climate change adaptation to renewable energy development in coastal areas. I have a deep interest in understanding and improving the way media systems routinely relay scientific information and the result that may have on audience perception and behavior.
